On Oct. 3rd, 2007 Dennis and Claudia, our friends from Holland, arrived
at Ontario Airport. I hadn't seen them since they visited us in
Shanghai, so it was great to have them over. We took them to many
different places; we went to Mount Baldy where the weather suddenly
changed and we were shivering as we were climbing and it started to
hail. The weekend we spent in Las Vegas; wealso visited an old miners
place called Ghost Town where we went back in time. We drove to Joshua
Park to enjoy nature and walked some trails.

So yesterday we returned from our trip to Sequ0ia National Park; we stayed for 3 days in a lodge in Three Waters, close to the entrance of the Park. We've seen so much beauty of nature: not only the biggest trees in the world, but also deer and black bears as well as of course the well-known squirrels and chipmunks. The weather was really good, we walked many trails during those days and we would have needed at least a couple of days more to see the whole park as it's huge! We've enjoyed our little trip and yeah, today was working time again......hope we can go back to Sequoia once more! See pictures and...enjoy!

So, I paid my tuition ofcourse that went smoothly, however I needed to get them to put ONE stamp on a form so I can continue to enjoy health insurance!

As the 4 of us needed a new passport we went to the Dutch Embassy in Los Angeles yesterday. After that we drove to Santa Monica, had coffee down town and headed to the beach later on.

I only have a few more weeks before I have to go back to school for my last semester. Not really looking forward to school but I have to finish.

We left for Seaworld in San Diego on Sunday; took us less than 2 hours to get there. The parking lot was very crowded and it took forever to get in.

So Jason came over today from his girlfriends house and we went to find "Shwarma Empire" and it turns out they have pretty good Shwarma's.

After not seeing Stef and Mike since January I flew to St. Louis, Missouri, for a short visit. Good to see each other again!

Camping with Mel's family in Goderich Canada July 2007. After my trip from St. Louis to Chicago had been cancelled I flew to Toronto via New York. Ended up being a couple of hours late, but we made it to the camping before midnight. We had a lot of fun as well as a lot of sun....

I'm at work and Stef & Mike are on their way from St. Louis to Fontana; dad and I will go to Ontario Airport soon to pick them up. They'll stay for a week and it'll be fun (probably go to Seaword on Sunday)!! Will post some pics soon.
